As we head into the weekend, I get more and more excited about our upcoming Sabbath, when the Oaklawn family gathers together to worship and serve Jesus, the Author and Finisher of our faith.

Today's photo comes courtesy of the shrubbery at the Oaklawn parsonage. The pretty flowers are Spider Lilies, or Surprise Lilies, so-called due to their lack of evident foliage at their blooming.
