It's officially Winter today, and, praise God, after tonight, the days will start to get longer by one minute per day. No matter the season, though; in Christ we have our Light with us always. Speaking of Jesus, the Gospel of John tells us,

"In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not" John 1: 4, 5

The same Gospel also tells us,

"But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God." John 1:12, 13

With that to carry me through today with a smile on my face, I'll say that today is beautiful Tuesday upon which to serve the Lord.
